  • After decades extolling the qualities of Canadian literature, John Moss turned to genres not usually celebrated in academe. He now writes mysteries with wit and passion, exploring the moral complexity of murder, extending boundaries of form and style to engage the thoughtful reader. Five novels are available in the Quin and Morgan series; a new trilogy featuring Harry Lindstrom, a philosopher turned detective, is due out soon; and a speculative series concerned with the end of literacy is under way. John lives in Peterborough with writer Beverley Haun and two terriers, a well-bred Airedale and a well-read Scotty.

John Moss began his support of the Festival this year, 2015.
