Lee Maracle


Lee Maracle is one of the most prolific Aboriginal authors in Canada and an award-winning poet, novelist, performance storyteller, scriptwriter, actor and keeper/mythmaker. She has given hundreds of speeches, conducted dozens of workshops and worked in community development mentoring young people on personal and cultural healing. She is currently the Aboriginal Writer-in-Residence for First Nations House and an instructor in the Aboriginal Studies Department at University of Toronto.
